The Data Studio agency for teams that need reporting done properly
Greenwolf Tech Labs is a Data Studio agency that designs, builds and runs reporting for marketing agencies, ecommerce brands and finance and operations teams. You get a named lead, a team behind them, and dashboards your company owns, built on clean data models rather than fragile blends.

Quick answer
What does a Data Studio agency do?
A Data Studio agency plans, builds and maintains reports in Google Data Studio for a business. That covers connecting sources such as GA4, Google Ads, Sheets and BigQuery, modeling the data, designing dashboards people actually use, setting access, and keeping reports working as connectors, quotas and requirements change over time.
- We are a team, so reporting work continues when one person is away.
- Our dashboards span insurance, pharma, retail, manufacturing, logistics and supply chain.
- Google renamed the product back to Data Studio in April 2026, and reports moved automatically.
- Every project is quoted at a fixed price after a free review of your data.

From 4-5 hours of spreadsheet work to a report in under 5 minutes
Monthly reports were assembled by hand from inconsistent .xls files sent by several insurers. The files now land in Google Drive, are mapped into one central sheet with the business rules applied, and feed a Data Studio dashboard.
- Report time: 4-5 hours to under 5 minutes
- Reporting accuracy: about 75% to 99%
- Visibility across insurers: limited to real time, with filters

What does a Data Studio agency actually do?
A Data Studio agency turns scattered data into reports that people trust and open every week. Our data studio services cover the whole path: sourcing, modeling, dashboard design, access control and the ongoing upkeep that most reports never get.
In practice that means deciding which numbers come from GA4, which from the CRM and which from a finance export, writing the calculated fields and CASE statements that standardize them, and choosing whether a blend is enough or the data belongs in BigQuery. Blends cap out at 5 sources and only support equality joins, so we plan around that before the first chart is drawn.
One example: an Australian insurance brokerage received messy .xls files from several insurers. We automated the flow so files land in Google Drive, map into a central Google Sheet, have business rules applied and feed the dashboard. Report time fell from 4 to 5 hours to under 5 minutes, and accuracy rose from about 75% to 99%.
Which dashboards have we built in Data Studio?
Our team has built production dashboards in Data Studio across six industries, plus finance and marketing reporting. Each one replaced a manual spreadsheet routine or a slide deck that was rebuilt every month.
- Insurance broker: members joined, exited and retained, churn rate by client and customer type, and a filterable member list per client scheme.
- Healthcare and pharma: sales and Rx volume, product performance, sales by state on a map, top reps, HCP metrics, and actual vs forecast by product.
- Retail: MoM and QoQ revenue growth, conversion rate, sell-through, cart abandonment against forecast, online vs in-store sales, foot traffic and shrinkage.
- Manufacturing unit: units produced and lost, plant output, units lost and productivity per machine, operator availability, causes of loss and maintenance cost.
- Logistics: orders by stage, shipping method mix, cancelled and delayed deliveries, fleet status and an order tracking table.
- Supply chain and procurement: spend, savings realized, active suppliers, lead time, compliance incidents, spend by category and country, and suppliers at risk.
- CFO dashboards: cash, revenue, spend and margin in one view for finance leaders.
- Marketing dashboards: multi-channel spend, leads and return across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, GA4 and Search Console.
Do you offer white-label Data Studio reporting for marketing agencies?
Yes. Marketing agencies are one of our core clients, and we work as a data studio reporting agency behind their brand. We build a master template once, then roll it out across the client roster by swapping the data source on each copy, applying the client's colors and logo, and setting sharing so each client sees only their own report.
Data Studio has no client management built in for agencies, so we supply the process: a naming convention, a register of which report uses which credentials, and a checklist for onboarding the next account.
Why hire an agency team instead of one person?
A team gives you capacity, review and continuity, with one named lead who owns your account. Reporting breaks at awkward times, and a single contractor on leave means nobody can fix it.
Every dashboard we ship is checked by a second analyst against the source system before handover. Totals are reconciled, filters are tested with real date ranges, and credentials are set to the owner or the viewer on purpose, not by accident.
- Capacity: several builders can work in parallel when you need ten client reports, not one.
- QA: a second person checks numbers before anyone in your company sees them.
- Continuity: documentation and shared ownership mean no single point of failure.
- A named lead: one person you talk to, who knows your data and your deadlines.

Looker Studio is Data Studio again. What changed in April 2026?
Google announced the rename on April 11, 2026, and the change rolled out in mid-April. Existing reports, data sources and users moved over automatically, and lookerstudio.google.com now redirects to datastudio.google.com. If you searched for a looker studio agency, you are in the right place: same product, original name.
The product started as Google Data Studio in 2016, took a different name in October 2022 and took its first name back this year. Looker remains a separate enterprise BI product. Data Studio itself is free, and Data Studio Pro costs $9 per user per project per month, with viewers needing no licence. For teams, Pro adds company-owned content tied to Google Cloud projects, team workspaces, alerts, up to 200 delivery schedules per report and Gemini in Data Studio.
How does an engagement with our team run?
Every project starts with a free review of your sources and the decisions the report must support, and ends with a fixed-price quote. We then build in stages you can see, so feedback lands while it is still cheap to act on.
After launch, most clients either take the dashboards over with our documentation or move to a monthly managed reporting arrangement where we watch connectors, handle changes and add views.
Which connectors and data stack do we work with?
We use native connectors where they are enough and add a warehouse when they are not. Native options include GA4, Google Ads, Search Console, Sheets, BigQuery, YouTube, Cloud SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server and Redshift.
For Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Shopify and similar platforms we use partner connectors such as Supermetrics, Windsor.ai, Porter Metrics, Funnel, Power My Analytics or Catchr, chosen for your sources and budget. When GA4 quota errors appear (the standard limit is 14,000 tokens per project per property per hour) or tables hit the 10 dimension and 20 metric cap on fixed-schema sources, we move the data into BigQuery with partitioned tables and scheduled queries.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much does a Data Studio agency cost?
We quote each project at a fixed price after a free review, because cost depends on the number of sources, how clean they are and how many views you need. Data Studio itself is free, and Data Studio Pro is $9 per user per project per month for creators, with viewers needing no licence.
Is Looker Studio the same as Data Studio?
Yes. Google renamed the product back to Data Studio in April 2026. Existing reports moved automatically and old links redirect, so nothing built under the old name is lost.
Is Data Studio the same as Looker?
No. Looker is Google's separate enterprise BI platform built on governed semantic models. Data Studio is the self-service reporting and exploration tool, and it is the one we build in.
Can you work under our agency's brand?
Yes. We build white-label Data Studio reports that carry your clients' branding and your agency's process, and we do not contact your clients unless you ask us to.
Do we need Data Studio Pro?
Not always. Pro is worth it when you want company-owned content, team workspaces, alerts, more delivery schedules or Gemini in Data Studio. Many single-team setups run well on the free edition.
Which industries do you build Data Studio dashboards for?
We have built dashboards for insurance, healthcare and pharma, retail, manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain and procurement, plus CFO and marketing reporting for companies in many sectors.
Where is your team based?
Greenwolf Tech Labs has offices in India and the USA and works remotely with clients worldwide, including the US, UK, Australia, Canada and Europe.
